Built-in kitchens, made to measure

Cocinas empotradas a medida. Designed and built for your room rather than adjusted to it — doors, drawers, panelling and the island, measured on site and assembled in the shop.

Custom closets

Closets personalizados. Walk-ins and fitted closets built to the exact wall and ceiling you have, so the space is used to the last inch — shelving, drawers, hanging and shoe storage laid out around what you own.

Bathroom cabinetry

Muebles de baño. Vanities and storage in wood, built for the bathroom's real dimensions and finished to stand up to the damp, matching the rest of the house rather than a catalogue.

Furniture design and making

Diseño y fabricación de muebles. A piece drawn for the spot it will live in and built from scratch: tables, libraries, media walls, built-ins. The work where forty years at the bench is visible from across the room.

Cocinas and Closet Esteves is the workshop of Alfredo Gonzalo Esteves and Dilia Rocha, a Venezuelan immigrant family and parishioners of Saint Katharine Drexel. More than forty years in kitchens and closets, from their own carpentry shops in Venezuela to Miami. Made to measure is the whole method, not a slogan. Nothing is bought ready-made and trimmed to fit: your space is measured, the piece is drawn for it, and it is built for that wall, that ceiling height, that corner — which is why it closes flush and why it lasts. Kitchens, closets, doors, bathrooms, furniture, flooring and repairs. Cabinetmaking in the old sense of the word, with a production time of one month to a month and a half. Guaranteed work and quality finishes.
