Meet the Founder
Isabel Garcia
Meraki was founded by Isabel Garcia, a Venezuelan-American entrepreneur, well-known in the Saint Katharine Drexel Parish in Weston and now actively involved at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Alongside her husband Fernando Ludert, they are dedicated community members who have led the Compass Ministry while also being highly successful entrepreneurs. Driven by her passion for both her faith and her craft, Isabel created Meraki with a heartfelt mission: to offer the best gluten-free and sugar-free cakes and desserts in town — a perfect combination of taste and health. Her vision is to bring joy and indulgence to those seeking high-quality desserts that align with healthier lifestyle choices.
Why Choose Meraki?

Faith-Driven & Community-Oriented: By supporting Meraki, you are also supporting a local business deeply committed to giving back to the community. Isabel and Fernando have dedicated their lives to serving others, and this passion is reflected in the values of their business.
