About Us – 

Mary’s Hope Network was born from a legacy of faith and solidarity in the mountains of Venezuela. It began with Mr. Valencia, a man devoted to serving his parish and community with love, even when resources were scarce. Year after year, he built a silent but powerful tradition of helping children and families in need.

That legacy continues today through his daughter, María Angélica Valencia, her husband Vicente Miralles, and their daughters, who carried this mission with them when they emigrated to the United States. In 2017, they launched what became the heart of Mary’s Hope Network: the “Cajas de María”—Christmas boxes filled with toys, clothing, and hope for children living in poverty or in shelters such as Casa Hogar San Andrés.

What started as a family tradition grew into a movement supported by dozens of sponsors in South Florida. Every year, hundreds of boxes cross borders, carrying not just gifts but love, dignity, and the reassurance that these children are not alone.

Today, Mary’s Hope Network is dedicated to expanding this mission. For Christmas 2025, 285 children are waiting for their box, their gift, their smile. Each contribution—whether through a donation, sponsorship, or simply spreading the word—helps cover logistics like shipping and ensures every child feels seen, loved, and celebrated.
